Northern Gateway who finished on top of the Rhino group with 51 points is set for a mouthwatering encounter with the log leaders of the Elephant group, Pajule Lions FC in the Northern Regional League play off at a venue yet to be communicated by the competition desk of NRFA, but it’ll surely be hosted in Acholi soil after Lango Sub region hosting that of last season at UCC Aduku in Kwania district, between Young Elephant FC and Lira City Council FC.
Pajule Lions FC made a remarkable milestone this season, being the only 3rd division side to reach the semi final of the Stanbic Uganda Cup before being ditched out of the tournament by the Uganda Premier League giant Kitara FC 4-1 on aggregate in a two legged tie.

Adjumani Town Council FC has no hopes of returning to the Betpawa Big League next season as they’re locked in the 6th position with 23 points, 25 below the table leaders of Nile Zone (West Nile Regional League), Araka FC.
