In a crucial Uganda Premier League encounter, UPDF FC staged a remarkable comeback to clinch a 2-1 victory against Maroons at the Bombo Barracks Military Ground. Muwadda Mawejje and Achumu Faridi Rashid were the heroes for the Army side, while Darius Ojok opened the scoring for Maroons.

With just one point separating them from 13th-placed Busoga United, UPDF FC is battling to remain in the top flight as they head into their final match against Wakiso Giants. The victory against Maroons provides a much-needed boost to their survival hopes.
