A Tradition of Celebration and Sport

Since its inception in 2014, the Kabaka’s Coronation Anniversary Golf Tournament has grown into a pivotal part of the annual festivities marking the Kabaka of Buganda’s coronation. Organized by the Buganda Golfers Association in collaboration with the Kingdom of Buganda, this event is not just a sports competition but a cultural festival celebrating Buganda’s rich traditions.

More Than Just a Game: A Fundraising Initiative

To ensure the tournament’s success, Owek. Robert Serwanga Ssaalongo has appointed a dedicated seven-member committee. This committee comprises individuals committed to the event’s smooth execution and success. The members include Mr. Sam Mubiru, Mr. David Sekitoleko, Mr. Emmanuel Wamala, Ms. Gertrude Kityo, Ms. Evah Magala, Mr. Paul Kaheru, and Mr. Hannington Musoke, the Kingdom’s Principal Sports Officer.

We pledge to do our best to make it a success and raise a good amount to contribute to the development of Buganda Kingdom and support the causes of the Kingdom.”
