Mutare City Rovers’ head coach, Kennedy Kachara, has been named Coach of the Month for June. Destiny Stars’ journey began in a church league, with the team originally named Church of Christ in Mutare. The initiative was started nearly five years ago as a way to combat drug abuse among youths. The team’s growth from these humble beginnings to competing in Division One is a testament to their dedication and community support. Wilson “Soks” Masokowere serves as the team’s president, with David Bati as chairman, Lyold Chinawa as vice-chairman, and Temba “Shumba” Sauramba as treasurer.
